Millennial and Generation Z conservatives are making their voices heard across the country and Appalachia should be no different. Young Republicans in Macon and Graham counties from all walks of life are gathering here to find fellowship, network, and advocate for conservative policies that will benefit Western North Carolina, our state, and our country. We welcome any 18-40-year-old Republican of any background or career; you do not have to be a politician to care about the promotion of conservative principles in our state and country.
Our SMYR chapter is non-committal, meaning there are no time or financial obligations; members can be as involved as their busy schedules allow and our generous donors cover membership dues for the North Carolina Federation of Young Republicans.
This chapter and others like it are built on the ideas and energy of its members, and our goal is to use the resources and network of our Federation to equip these counties young conservatives with a larger platform and an opportunities to grow!
Smoky Mountain Young Republicans is always welcoming new members, so if you are interested in more information, please check out our Interest Form.
